Our Guided Tour Route of St.Andrews
We will always go at the speed of the slowest individual, whether they are 3 or ninety-three.
St Andrews is vibrant and bustling, its history long and rich, its wildlife intriguing. There is a lot to find out about so no need to hurry.
Usually the route will take in the Cathedral, the coast, the heart of the old university, take an overview of the Old Course (golf) and explore back lanes and main streets, but it can be flexible to take account of participants' interests and current events.
Recently, I took a group to look at the lanes off South Street, because one member of the (small) group was keen to see old quaint areas of the town. These are certainly quaint and also help to show how the medieval gardens of burgers became developed as real estate.
